For over 50 years, Marina Sailing has been perfecting the art of teaching sailing. Whether you want to daysail and take friends and family out, to learning the intricacies of navigating to Catalina Island, to advanced offshore sailing, there is something for you at our six locations to get you out on the water.
Marina Sailing's Complete Sailing Course is designed for the new sailor and includes basic and intermediate instruction aboard sailboats 25-30 feet. Students learn to sail quickly and safely with our certified American Sailing Association instruction in ASA 101 Basic Keelboat Sailing and ASA 103 Basic Coastal Cruising.
Learn and become proficient sailing 30-40 foot sailboats over five days. The course includes: Basic Sailing (ASA 101), Basic Coastal Cruising (ASA 103) and Bareboat Chartering (ASA 104). Sail to spectacular offshore islands and beautiful harbors and learn crucial skills such as basic to advanced sailboat handling, course plotting and navigation, instruments and other electronics, boat systems like engines and plumbing, trip planning and provisioning, and more!
